White Wednesday

Today I'm dreaming of white as the world around me begins to golden. 

The air this morning is slightly crisp, has a hint of fog and the smell of fall.

I've decorated my coffee table the same way as last year. 

Tiny white pumpkins under a vintage glass cloche.

I'm feeling in the mood for a Fisherman sweater. Not in the scratchy wool I had back in my thirties. 

I think a cashmere and silk blend would be yummy and cozy. I want it soft, with just subtle cabling. 

Nothing too chunky or rustic for me.

I love this simple wrapping with a sprig of eucalyptus. That fresh smell always reminds me of California.

I'll be wearing my white jeans all through fall and into winter. I love white jeans tucked into boots.

I'm loving the simplicity of these proportions on Katherine Heigl. 

Pants to the waist...a shape I love to see returning. This whole outfit is reminiscent of "Hitchcock Blonde" styling and the white coat is perfect on her. It all looks so ladylike.

I am lusting for this gorgeous white cashmere. The joy of knitting with it, will only be surpassed by the joy of wearing it. A long, simple vest would be perfect for the weather here in northern California.

Diced white pumpkin is roasting...I'm making soup later today. 

I haven't used white pumpkin before so I'm anxious to compare the taste.

The sweetness of a white puppy bringing you a "gift" :-)
